External 

The External positions are responsible for representing the Schwartz Business Society to businesses, other schools, business certificate programs, and non-profit organizations. By connecting our students with the business world, we aim to enhance their Schwartz experience and their experience after StFX. We also will be providing workshops and tutoring to Schwartz business students to help them excel academically.

 
 

Vice President External

The Vice President External must be a driven individual with strong leadership qualities and great organizational skills. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire External staff including the Director of Academics, Directors of Finance, Director of Sponsorship, Workshop and Tutor Representatives, as well as the First and Second Year Representative. This individual will be the main contact person for external organizations while organizing academic events, sponsorship, and managing the finances of the Schwartz Business Society. Applications here

Director of Academic's

The Director of Academic's must be a talented, driven and organized individual, who is competent in communicating with faculty and students to lead the academic team. This individual is responsible for overseeing the Tutor Representatives, Workshop Representative, First Year Representative and Second Year Representative. This individual will help and oversee tasks such as creating and organizing workshops, organizing the mentorship program, developing a tutor program and database , and helping first and second years get more involved in the Schwartz School of Business. Director of Finance

The Director of Finance must be talented with numbers, understand financial statements and be an organized individual. This individual will help oversee tasks such as the Schwartz Business Society administration including meeting planning, minutes and assistance with budgeting.  The Director of Finance will work closely with the Vice President External and the Directors of Sponsorship in raising funds, creating a budget for the school year, and creating budgets for each event. Directors of Sponsorship

The Director of Sponsorship must be an outgoing, confident, organized, proactive  individual who is competent in communicating with national and local businesses. They are responsible for reaching out, maintaining and establishing external connections that can benefit Schwartz Business Society while bringing more businesses to StFX to see the talent we have to offer.  This individual will help raise the funds that allow for the Schwartz Business Society hold events, conferences, and workshops by developing a sponsorship package and communicating with national and local businesses. Applications here

Workshop Representative

The Workshop Representative will need to be an organized, proactive, and hardworking individual that is confident with public speaking and running workshops. The individual will be responsible for developing the programming for each workshop, planning them, and working with faculty and administration to host these events. Applications here

Tutor Representatives

The Tutor Representatives will need to be an organized, proactive, and hardworking individual that is confident with communicating and connecting individuals. The individual will be responsible for connecting third and fourth with first and second year students in need of help in specific subjects. They would also be responsible for creating and updating a tutor database for the Schwartz School of Business. Applications here

Second Year Representative

The Second Year Representative is exclusively reserved for second year students. This position will be responsible for voicing the academic needs of your classmates as well as reaching out to the incoming class. This position will help connect Second Year students with upper years while providing events that help the second years excel. This includes  planning events such as orientation day and the Mikes Bikes wrap up party for First Years. Applications here
