Schwartz Business Society Presents...

The J.D. Irving Strategic Management Case Competition (ISMCC) at the Gerald Schwartz School of Business at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. As the first annual strategic management case competition in Atlantic Canada, the ISMCC will unite students and faculty from the top business schools in the region, along with distinguished industry leaders. Delegates will explore and tackle a challenging Strategic Management case that is probable to occur in today's business world, requiring diverse backgrounds in business programs.

The ISMCC provides an opportunity for students to represent their university in an enriching academic experience. They will be provided with opportunities to network with prospective employers and gain insights from industry leaders.

The teams will be given three hours to analyze a case. They will then present their recommendations to a panel of distinguished judges. The judges will carefully evaluate and determine the top three teams. The results will be based on predetermined criteria. Examples of such criteria can be seen in the attached criteria page.

In addition to the case, the teams will participate in an exciting mini-conference and network with like-minded students, professionals, and recruiters.
