The J.D. Irving Strategic Management Case Competition (IMSCC) is open to all undergraduate university business or commerce students. Each school may enter one team of four to five (preferably five) students to compete. It is suggested that the teams consist of diverse backgrounds in business (marketing, finance, accounting, etc.). Multiple applications from a single school may be sent but it is up to the discretion of Schwartz Business Society to choose the team participating from that university.
The registration fee for each delegate is $150.00 CAD. Teams are permitted to bring a coach, though it is not mandatory. If applicable, the coach fee is $125.00 CAD. Registration fees include hotel accommodations (on campus at StFX for students, Maritime Inn for coaches), dinner on Friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, promotional items, social events, networking with prospective employers, and more. Applications open on November 21st, 2017 and close on December 17th at 11:59 PM AST. Schools selected will be notified of their successful applications on December 20th, 2017. Upon being accepted, teams will be required to fulfil the full delegate fee for each team member.
